Since inception in 1983, family owned Fero Group has continued national expansion of its’ operations and now offers a wide range of steel manufacturing and anti-corrosion services. This makes Fero uniquely positioned in Australia offering fully integrated solutions to the mining and construction sectors for anti-corrosion treatments and supply of reinforcing and ground support products for domestic and international markets. Fero Group has earned their enviable status by listening to its client base and developing a number of specialised divisions to ensure its commitment to a wide range of services in the mining and construction industries.

What was once a small business started by brothers Mario and Andy Franco in 1972, has developed into a major state-of-the-art business enterprise now employing more than 200 people.

Today, they are joined by Mario's three children Laura, Michael and Robert – all engaged in specialist areas pertinent to the future growth of Fero Group both nationally and overseas.

The company currently operates from its WA business headquarters in Kewdale, Western Australia, providing easy access to and from main arterial roads and the State international and domestic airports, and railhead are just minutes away.

Similarly, its eastern states operation in Brisbane is located just metres from the Bruce Highway, providing easy access to the Queensland transport network.
