Fero Golf Day at Burswood

The forth annual Fero Golf Day was staged at Burswood Golf Course for the last time today before it becomes part of the new football stadium.

Fero's valued clients and staff mingled under excellent conditions and some say some golf occurred as nearly 60 contestants took to the fairways and greens.
The winning team featured Fero's Sam Griffiths, Stephen Hesketh (Fero Strata), Aaron Rankine (Barminco) and Laughton Savage (Built Environs) with a gross score of 67 for a nett 53.5.
Second place went to the team of Dave McGowan (Barrick), Gareth Hirst (Bluescope Steel), Brett Fordham (La Mancha), and Adam Collis (Fero Strata) with a gross of 66 and nett of 53.625. (Note: order changed to suit photo sequence)
Third saw Boon Dat Kwan (Wei Dat), Rob Franco (Fero) and Steve Taddei (Mecon Construction) claim the prize with a gross of 64 and a nett of 54.5.
The much-cherished NAGA prize went to the team of Marco Pedeferri (Better Wear Welding), John Barnes (Newmont), Michael Poepjes (Metals X) and Warwick Smith (Fero Strata) with a gross 74 for  63.5.
Aaron Rankine (Barminco), on the third, and Steve Taddei (Mecon Construction), on the  10th, won the longest-drive prizes.
The nearest-the-pin prizes went to Craig Harbrow (Symonds Engineering) on the sixth and David Maltby (Garock) on the 11th.
